首先登场的就是“年夜饭”啦，我们可以使用New Year Eve’s meal来向外国朋友介绍，由于年夜饭也叫团圆饭，所以英文也可写作reunion dinner,下面给出两个例句：
My families get together to enjoy the New Year Eve’s meal.
我的家人们聚在一起享用年夜饭。
The reunion dinner is so delicious that I cannot stop eating.
团圆饭太美味了，我吃得停不下来。
年夜饭，大家都吃得很香，那么，关于“吃”的各种词汇，除了eat，你还了解多少呢？
chew:咀嚼
I don’t like chewing gums.
我不喜欢嚼口香糖。
chomp/munch:出声咀嚼，吧唧嘴
She chomps on the dumplings.
她吧唧吧唧地吃着饺子。
I am munching on the mutton chop.
我正大嚼羊排。
bite: 咬（过去式bit,过去分词bitten）
The fish are just not biting today.
鱼今天就是不咬钩。
You shouldn’t bite more than you can chew.
你不该贪多嚼不烂。

bite也有“烦扰”之意，如：
